What's all the HYPE about?

We invite you to participate in The HYPE (improving the Health of Young PeoplE) Project and become a HYPE Community Member. The project is an online recruitment and resource platform for young adults (aged 16 and over) that aims to facilitate young people’s involvement in research and improve access to online and community-based social and health-related resources.

We are asking young people living in the UK aged 16 years and older to help us by taking part in this project.

Everyone who completes the online survey will be included in a monthly prize draw for a chance to win one of three £10 vouchers.

The project is supported by the National Institute for Health Research Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre and based at King’s College London.

Coronavirus Notice

Due to the situation with coronavirus (COVID-19), in the best interest of all our HYPE Project members and staff, we have decided to postpone all community-based activities until further notice.

However we have dedicated a section of this website to provide resources specific to coronavirus in order to help support your well-being during this time. We have also put together a list of activities that you can do for free at home. With the help of our partner organisations, our research teams will continuously update these pages as new information and resources become available.

So please do come back and visit our websites for opportunities to take part in new research studies and find out about health and social resources you might find useful.

If you have any queries, please email us at hype@kcl.ac.uk.

Please follow the government guidelines and stay safe.
