If you are in need of advice or support here is a list of services and organisations that may be able to help.
Your local A&E Hospital – If you are in urgent need, contact your local A&E. During surgery open hours please do consult your GP. If appropriate, your GP can refer you onto specialist services for physical and emotional health difficulties.
NHS 111 – if you’re worried about an urgent medical concern, you can call 111. Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP. NHS 111 advisers can also assess if you need an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary.
Mind – the mental health charity. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind also campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
With Be Gamble Aware, you’ll find advice and get access to free, confidential help by phone or online. You can learn about how gambling works, check if you or someone you know may have a gambling problem, and find tips on how to stay in control.
Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity that exists to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. BEAT gives individuals experiencing an eating disorder and their loved ones a place where they feel listened to, supported and empowered.
