If you are in need of advice or support here is a list of services and organisations that may be able to help.

Your local A&E Hospital – If you are in urgent need, contact your local A&E. During surgery open hours please do consult your GP. If appropriate, your GP can refer you onto specialist services for physical and emotional health difficulties.

NHS 111  if you’re worried about an urgent medical concern, you can call 111. Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP. NHS 111 advisers can also assess if you need an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary.

IAPT services provide evidence based treatments for people with anxiety and depression (implementing NICE guidelines). Details of local IAPT services are available on the NHS website. You can self refer to IAPT here.

Samaritans are always here – round the clock, every single day of the year. Someone to talk to – people contact Samaritans when things are getting to them. They don’t have to be suicidal.
